This series of work explores facets of female identity by
photographing adolescent girls and women at various stages in
life. The captured images were chosen for their ability to suggest
notions of projection and perception -- both of self and by others
-- while retaining mystery. The uncertainty implied in that space
between pose and gaze helps create honest metaphors to express
an elusive, complicated female psychology.
