The photo belong to a series about the places where Marcel
Proust lived.
Theese places are the same that The Recherche talks about
The work has been published in a book, whose title is Dalla
Parte di Marcel, On Marcel Side
It doesn't want to be a documentation on Proust's life, but an
imaginary travel inside the Recherche
From The writer we learn the places don't exhist, the only thing
that exhist is our perception of them, that is what I would tell in
this image. Places have a strong and melancholic fashination,
that is their power on us, that is what Marcel Proust teach to us,
Balbec doesn't exhist, but it exhists in our imagination, inside
us

White is the color of this place as I imagine it, by the light that
comes from the trees

All the work has been made in black and white film and printed
in the traditional way
It took me two years realizing all the photos

Graduated at Scuola Romana di Fotografia started workin with Presstime as a professional photographer and the with Possep Photographers and Camera 21 for cultural project. At the same time keeping on persona projects.
