This book tells a story of the city Tunis (Tunisia).

Started a few years before the jasmin revolution, this book
combines images that question and demonstrate typical Tunisian
elements in architecture, society, travel and culture, before and
after the revolution made in an around the capital Tunis.

As the Tunisians showed the world how to successfully perform a
regime change, the book focuses on the reaction of the Tunisians
against their 'Ancien Régime' and on their journey to lead the
country into a democratic and open society.

The book includes texts about the cultural and religious symbols
in the photographs written in a poetic and factual way.
