I have been expressing my joy of art with paint, shapes and
colors since I was very young. I started as a painter, evolved
into a photographer, and eventually began painting on my
photographic prints over 30 years ago.
I hand painted vivid colors on my Cibachrome prints, creating a
wonderful new magical reality, before Photoshop.
Now I scan my one-of-a-kind hand-painted prints and my
library of 35mm Kodachrome color transparencies taken over
the last 40 years, and I paint, collage and enhance them with
Photoshop.
Dreamscapes is a way to describe how my art speaks to a
wonderful world in which the aesthetic joy of color is always
with us.

Awards Many exhibitions over the last 30 years as a fine art photographer, some awards & am proud to announce that I have just installed 65 large artworks at UCLA, filling the Law Library & a floor at the Anderson School of Business, on loan for 10 years!
I produce archival museum quality chromogenic prints, archival glossy canvas artworks, and my favorite new digital medium: archival printing
on aluminum.
My art has been shown worldwide in many solo exhibitions including:

I have been included in countless group exhibits and Art Fairs around the world over the last 30 years, and collected by museums, foundations, corporations and individuals worldwide. Numerous magazine articles,
magazine and book covers, two museum exhibition catalogues and
two books have been published of my art, Garden Tales and Car Tales.
Recently I have had the honor of being asked to install a total of over 200 artworks in many wonderful public spaces on exhibit for 10 years:
In five buildings at UCLA and three buildings at UCSB.
In 2018 I had a 4 month exhibition entitles “Jane Gottlieb Photographs France” at the Art, Design & Architecture Museum at UCSB!!
