The HK society is getting more and more extreme, in 2014, the Gini
Coefficient figure has reached to a record’s high (0.54) !

This picture was taken in Shum Shiu Po, HK, one of the poorest
suburbs in HK. The Poor Lady in this picture was collecting carton
boxes and papers, then she would sell them to recycle shops. Those
boxes were used to contain expensive imported fruits from foreign
countries, such as Apples. Some of the apples could cost up to HK$100
each, but the carton boxes could only be sold at around HK$20 per
40KG…..

The Wealthy people are enjoying their lives while the poor people are
struggling with their lives !
