Holi

‘Holi’ is a portrait series of a random selected group of People
during the Holi Festival of
Colors in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Where 15,000 partygoers
was throwing colour at each other.
I was fascinated by the fact that the people come together from all
corners of the country as individuals, alone or with friends to one
location and to go crazy to the sounds of music and than as a unit
throwing colored powder at each other faces.
which then changed their identity and made them become a part
of something special and become united with each other no
matter what race or age. Its was a feeling of warm sincere
happiness-
like - they can be children again.

On the quest of mastering the light with great eye for aesthetics, color and craft skills. Creating a unique ambient to document today's subcultures or portraying celebrities, athlete's, politicians and peculiar characters of humankind.
