I photograph nature, wildlife and destinations avoided by the masses.

My passion for the visual arts and photography is directly connected with world travel and the Soviet Union. During my childhood, an abundance of correspondence from the USSR arrived at my family’s home. The stamps coming from the other side of the Iron Curtain were mesmerizing and became my window on the world. Eventually, cameras became my method of choice for documenting my discovery of the world.

In the mid 80s, I began using computers as a tool to create images. In the early 90s, I was offered my first job as a computer graphics artist. I have been involved in digital visual effects for film ever since (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0756280/).
