The Mimi Project: If Only for a Second

The Mimi Foundation is an organization in select European cities
that helps navigate treatment options and care for cancer patients.
"If Only for a Second" is the name of a project conceived between
Vincent Dixon and longtime creative collaborator, Xavier
Beauregard. Together they created a series of 20 cancer patients
receiving outlandishly fun make-overs. They were documented
with their eyes closed and then for the reveal with their eyes open.
Large prints were displayed in a gallery setting for the patient to
see in unison, a book was also created. The behind the scenes
video has received over 15 million hits on YouTube.
