"We visited La Casa Rural at lunchtime. It was hot and dry. The
house looked beautiful, but I knew that something was missing. After
a few days, I decided to go back. I checked the forecast and decided
to go back early in the morning. When I arrived, the house was
wrapped in the morning mist. I felt like I was spying an animal
drinking along the verge of a river bank: the dense misty air was
moving through the corten steel frames as if the house was catching it
to breathe; that same dewy air was captured by the roughness of the
steel surfaces, giving the cor-ten steel a damp, dark brown look. The
vegetation around the house was in a green-silvery colour, and the
landscape -despite it being the end of summer- betrayed signs of
autumn. That was the right hour for my photos. The house, the air,
the cornfield, the cows, the mountains, the hermitage, all those parts,
vital matters of the design conception, were tuned together to create
