Hungry Americans
There are never surprises on the McDonald’s menu. McDonald’s is a place where people go to get the same meals they’ve been eating their whole lives. It is the patrons themselves who bring the variety and flavor. And when these people from all walks of life and all parts of the United States are assembled together in into one photo series, they speak to one another.
I spent nearly 3 months in the last year visiting more than 400 McDonald’s across 33 states taking portraits of McDonald’s patrons and employees.
