A Lady in the Temple

Three monks were check out my friend’s shoes, it’s uncommon to
have a young lady in the temple center this early in the morning,
and her nice shoes really stand out with all the other monks' sandals
on the floor. It’s no surprise they were curious.

Bhutan is changing, as they open themselves to the outside world,
their tradition and values will be challenged as well. Just like the
white lady shoes in the center of their spiritual temple.
