A documentary photograph is a visual document that a photographer believes to be significant evidence of something important to him or her and automatically becomes an historical or scientific record reflecting the photographer’s concerns at the time. Of course most of us photograph the things we recognize as being important to us and it’s difficult to avoid our cultural and emotional influences in our choices.
These photographs are my footprints and my crumbs on the path. And then all of a sudden, these tracks become my very memories. I just take pictures at what I like, I tell about my world, my emotions, the little horrors of the everyday life and I turn what I see in what I feel.
Awards Born in 1972, I currently live and work in the Province of Modena.
I took up photography approximately 6 years ago. My growing interest in photography led me to take an Italian Master’s Degree in photography with Edoardo Agresti. As time passed, the way I live and conceive photography has changed and I have developed a greater affinity for social reporting, for delving in depth into specific topics. This interest has aroused a desire for greater knowledge of this field which led me to take various workshops with Francesco Zizola, Antonin Kratochvil, Anders Petersen, Alex Majoli, Franco Pagetti, Erica McDonald e Andrew Sullivan.
