Despite being surprisingly small and without apparent natural resources, the territory of Israel and Palestine
is probably the most contended land by men, since thousands of years.
The ultimate reason for the infinite wars and human tragedies which troubled this land is "religion": here are
born Judaism and Christianity, and here are also some of the most important sacred places for Islam.
The worldâ??s three monotheist religions have lived together here, since their very beginning. Seldom in peace.
Born and raised in Italy, Filippo Mutani is a worldwide represented Getty Images and Contour photographer.
His work is mainly based on reportage -T-The New York Times Style Magazine, Financial Times, Newsweek, The Guardian, The Independent, Internazionale, National Geographic, Days Japan- but he shoots also celebrity portrait -Vanity Fair, Corriere Della Sera Style-, fashion editorials -Vogue Italia- and
corporate/advertising - Giorgio Armani, Fendi, Burberry, Campari, Pirelli-. He teaches photography in IED Milan.
