Sheila goes back to India

My sister Sheila was adopted in 1983 when she was one year old. In 2010 she decided to go back for the fist time to her birthplace Mumbai.
The photographs in this project relate the different stages of Sheilas trip to India and are a tribute to the courage she showed in seeking her own roots. Sheila had to return to India to find the luminosity and warmth she had originally brought with her, before returning to her adopted country, bringing new light into her own life and the lives of those who love her.
