H'mong family from Lao Chai

Vietnam is a very ethnically diverse country, with more than 50 ethnic minorities living in its central and northern regions. H'mong people are among the largest hill-tribes in Vietnam. H'mong sub-groups are named after the dominant colour of their traditional dress. I met this Black H'mong family in Sapa, and was invited to their bamboo house in the village of Lao Chai, where I had the opportunity to spend time with them and photograph them.

Emanuele is a keen life-long learner and passionate traveller. His love for photography stems from his curiousity about world cultures and traditions. His favourite subjects are people, but he shoots architecture and landscapes too.
