Scraps are images of debris (size 6x6) takes during the
recycling process. At a given moment in this process -
but not decisive moment in the Bresson sense - the matter imploded
takes on a new form: the photographic research is born with the aim
to bring the witness of the life cycle of that
overturn the rules perspective in a game of kaleidoscopic
duplication: the negative is played and reversed (metaphor
disappearance of the original in the digital age) until
confuse the subject with a monster that embodies multiforme
infinite emotional representations, one for each spectator.
Carlo Pettinelli. born in Italy, graduate in 1994, currently lives in Rome. His pictures have been published in important magazines (L?Espresso, Panorama, Playboy Mexico, Vanity Fair, Specchio, Left Avvenimenti, Glamuor, Volare,...), he has had assignments from corporations (MCC-UniCredit Banca di Roma, Tecno Engineering 2C, Tasca D?Almerita, Enoteca Ferrara,...) and he has colaborated with agencies and publishers (De Agostini Editions, Contrasto Agency, Graffitypress Agency,...).
