I would like to say that my great great grandfather, the Victorian era photographer Robert French was an early influence on my work but unfortunately he was not. It was only after I established myself in the world of Japanese underground theatre in the 1980's that I looked back and appreciated the pioneering work he did. After Japan I moved to Thailand and now I supply interior and architectural photography to the hospitality and construction industries, I also contribute regularly to US Architectural Digest. My personal projects can lead in any number of directions.
