Laurent is French born ( Le Chesnay) and German. Educated in Boston he has been living between France and the United States since the age of 11. He found his base in New York City in 1998where he worked in film infront and behind the camera. Photography has long been in his life and it was an opportunity to travel and conduct country economic reports ( two months after 9/11) that Laurent took his photography to a new level. With 34 countries in 4 years he is pushing the photography to capture "the soul" of his subjects.
He currently works from New York City and returns to Paris often for work and leisure. Usually shoots with Fuji Provia and Agfa B&W film and recently upgrade to the d2x.
