Andrea Frazzetta was born in Lecce in 1977. He moved to Milan where he studied art and architecture. After graduating he devoted himself entirely to photography, which he used mainly as instrument for discovery and tale-telling. He started travelling and worked on several photo reports in South America and Africa. He has exhibited his photos in a large number of exhibition and works for important magazines: D della Repubblica, Internazionale, L?Espresso, Geo, El Pais Semanal, Financial Times, Courrier International. He is currently working on a long term project about the Mediterranean area. With this project he won the Canon prize italian young photographer 2006.
