As art director/consultant in New York, Vincent Winter worked for Rolling Stone, Esquire, Inside Sports (then a Newsweek publication), The New York Times, Random House and Oxford University Press.
In 1995 he established his new company, Interactive Bureau in Paris, a European publication design and new media consulting firm.
He has won awards from the Art Directors Club, Type Designers Club and the Society of Publication Designers.
In 2002 he returned to photography -- his first love -- and has since produced photo-reportages in Chad, Angola, Equatorial Guinea, India, Mexico, France, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Oman, Qatar, the U.A.E. , the Balkans, Egypt, Malaysia, Brunei, and the United States.
In 2006 he won the "New America" award from the National Press Photographers' Association.
