Michael began making photographs when he was fourteen years old, and has been shooting
professionally in Los Angeles for the last ten years.
Michael?s advertising clients include Chiat/Day, BBDO, Ogilvy and Crispin, Porter and
Bogusky. A partial list of advertising campaigns includes Urban Outfitters, Compaq Comput-
ers, BCBG, MaxAzria, M&M Mars, Hitachi, Arco, Borders Books and Kenmore. This work
has earned Michael numerous awards including a Silver in the 2005 One Show Awards. His
work appears regularly in magazines such as Bon Appetit, Vogue, Sports Illustrated, Flaunt
and Time. An image from a personal project was included in the 2006 Photography Annual
of Communication Arts Magazine.
His fine art work ranges from subjects in nature to his current project, portraits of icons
of Buddha.
