Helen K. Garber is known for her night urban landscapes in cities such as Los Angeles, NY, Paris, Amsterdam, Venice and Rome, Italy.

Helen's work is in a number of permanent museum collections including the George Eastman House, International Museum of Film and Photography, Rochester, NY, the Museum of the City of NY, the Brooklyn Museum, NY, the Portland Museum of Art, Oregon and Yale University.

Parents at Last, Clarkson & Potter, 1998, Venice Beach, CA Carnivale, Xlibris, 2005 are two of her published books. Four images were also included in Looking at Los Angeles, Metropolitan Books, 2005, edited by Ben Stiller, Marla Hamburg Kennedy and Jane Brown.

The Urban Noir portfolio was featured in Photo District News, Focus Magazine, B&W Magazine, Antilepsis Magazine and Palm Springs Life. The Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art , New Paltz, NY exhibited 20 images and a projected DVD of the Urban Noir project in October, 2007.

A Night View of Los Angeles, a 360 degree panorama of the entire city of Los Angeles was featured at the 10th International Biennale di Architecture, Venice, Italy, in 2006.
