Gerardo Fornataro

Was born in Matera in 1978.

He got graduated in Photography at the Advanced Institute of Photography and Visual Arts in Padua Italy.

He mostly deals with an experimental shooting,
focused on using the digital technology and linked instruments.

It is exactly from the usage of the new means that new works come out,
these are characterised by going beyond natural and sensory limits,
which are typical of the Analogical shooting, here we have also the creation of a new metaphysical dimension
typical of the new International terms in photography.

Some of his pictures have been awarded in important National and International photography competitions, and he also took part to personal and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
