Philippe Marchand was born in 1961. He is a self-taught photographer and lives in Nantes in Brittany. He works with several illustration and advertising agencies and his pictures are used to promote reputable brands. For several years now, he has been consistently dragged out of the comfort of his house by his passion for the unique light and atmosphere of the Breton coast, whatever the weather. The pictures he brings back from his walks reveal all the power and the magic of the places he discovers. His sense of aesthetics and the techniques he has decided to develop have enabled him to create his own singular and personnal photographic world.
