Near the border between Brazil and Uruguay, in the Pampa biome, some ranches still preserve the traditional practice of cattle branding. Historically, this demanding work has been carried out by men who live among long distances, smoke, leather, and dust, keeping alive practice deeply connected to the region's extensive cattle culture.
The images created in 2026 reveal fragments of this routine marked by physical endurance and cultural permanence, a rarely seen stage within the long chain of meat production.

Rodolfo Redivo is a Brazilian photographer focused on documentary and fine art photography. His work investigates the relationship between people, landscape, and tradition, exploring silence, memory, and narratives shaped by light.
