Kush is cheap, devastating and instantly addictive.
It is already an emergency in Sierra Leone, but the spread of this drug is infecting the whole of West Africa.
Kush is a cannabis derivative mixed with synthetic drugs as nitazene (highly addictive synthetic opioid), tramadol and fentanyl. Prolonged use of Kush causes severe psychological damage, respiratory failure and skin necrosis
In Freetown slums, such as Kroo Bay or Susan's Bay, entire groups of young people spend their days in a drug-induced trance state. Most of them say to take kush to forget the suffering of a life without prospect
