An afternoon on a nuclear aircraft carrier. Somewhere in the Mediterranean. As tensions around the Ukraine-Russia issue are palpable in the air.

I focus on these warriors and their impressive machines. I think about what aggression means for the living beings.

Aggression is a vital impulse of creatures. In nature it has its checks/balances. In humans, the disproportionate use of technology put a huge distance between actions and effects, making humans most dangerous. Hope comes from the fact that - as Konrad Lorenz says - only animals capable of great aggression are also capable of love.
