Much ink (real and digital) has been spilt about travel restrictions during the pandemic, to the effect of, "We cannot visit anyone!" Much less had been said about the other side of separation: "We cannot invite anyone!" The empty US-football scoreboard seemed to me to express the pain in the starkest, most imperative manner possible, especially in December 2020. The other two photos address it more indirectly: even if you CAN enter here, the only way forward is back out.
