In Gaza two thirds of the population are young people, whose hopes are still unbroken, despite the fact that none can imagine how the future would look like. Many of them are not willing to give up their hopes, and continue to fuel their passions every day through art, music, sport and culture. Some of them have lost their family members and friends, some of them have lost their limbs, but still do their best to continue living the life they dream, with a passion that knows no boundaries.

Nicola Zolin is a photojournalist and writer currently based between Venice and Istanbul. His works follow political, cultural, environmental and social issues, working with photo-series, text, videos and mixed media, preferably with long forms formats on a freelance basis. He lived and worked in China, India, Iran, Turkey, the Netherlands, Italy and Greece, earning a BA degree in Mass Communication and a MSC in International Relations. He works with newspaper and magazine such as De Volkskrant, Politico, AlJazeera, Vice News, Der Spiegel, Stern, Foreign Policy and others.
