Dajia Mazu Pilgrimage is one of the largest religious event in the world. Every year on the March of lunar calendar, thousands of people start the three hundred Kilometers journey on foot with Mazu, the Godness of the sea. The midnight fireworks stands for the beginning of the journey, thousands of believers following the palanquin of Mazu, walking through cities and countries from day to night. On the journey, lots of villagers preparing food and beverages for those followers, waiting for the coming of the Mazu, appreciating the blessing from Mazu by praying or Crawling under palanquin.
