Fighting Hep-C in Georgia

FIND, the global alliance for diagnostics, has been pioneering a hepatitis C rapid test with intravenous drug users in Georgia. Clients can get their results in an hour and a half. Based on their results, they can get immediate counselling and medications. Previously, blood tests took days to return from central laboratories. The images have been used in FIND's annual report and on the web. The photographs have been taken as part of HEAD-Start, a project funded by Unitaid.
