"PRIMAL"

This series stems from an idea I had a year ago to make jewellery
using strictly raw metallic materials from the hardware store.
I wanted to use the perfect models who would fit the raw feel that I
was going for and found the perfect models, Aluad - gorgeous as a
tribal queen, and Alex a stunning Albino model. We used makeup
reminiscent of the golds, coppers and silvers to echo the primal feel
of the jewellery.

Michele Taras is an award-winning photographer from Canada. Her work has been published in Photo Life, Chloe, Harry Rosen Magazine and others. Taras is well known for her fund raising efforts through her photography which to date has raised over $50 000.00 for various charities. Mainly through her breast cancer survivor portraits and the calendars for sale for SickKids hospital.
