L'eroica di Gaiole in Chianti is one of the most famous vintage
competition in Italy. It takes place in the Chianti region, between
Siena and Florence, every year in october, since 1997.
With its four courses, it runs trough the most famous tuscan
vineyards, mainly on white roads. People from al over the world
comes to ride this "granfondo" every year.
Nicola Ughi is based in Lucca (Tuscany, Italy). Working in corporate photography, industrial reportage and portraiture.
Not impressed by blood, he usually work in hospitals and surgical theater for medical and scientific reportage.
Official photographer for the ice cream italian maker “Sammontana”, Ughi also works for important italian heavy and production industries, shooting pictures for catalogues and websites.
He’s now well know for the project #SEDIAROSSA where he use to portray italian Vips.
Awards Nicola Ughi is a professional photographer. Accomplishments: 5 books published: "San Rossore, Reportage da un Ippodromo - 2007"; "TERRA di Giacomo Puccini - 2009", "Tra Foce e Pineta - 2012" - "Pisa nell'anima - 2013" - "Gente di Mura - 2014".
Prizes: 2009 - third place IPA 2009 (ADV - Calendars) with a project of a basketball team calendar; 2014 - second place IPA 2014 (Portraits) with an Andrea Bocelli portrait; third place MIFA 2015 (Personality) with an Andrea Bocelli concert in Caserta. First Prize - Category "Field Work and its fruits" - OBIETTIVO AGRICOLTURA 2011.
Several Honorably mentions in IPA 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
