Winner’s Exhibition at House of Lucie Athens

April 30, 2024

Px3 has partnered with the sister organization the International Photo Awards (IPA) to bring the 2023 winners to House of Lucie Athens. The group exhibition had a grand opening on the night of March 15th and allowed the Athens photography community access to some of last year’s best photographs in the world. The exhibition featured the winning photography from across the Px3 categories including advertising photography, fine art photography, nature photography, and portrait photography. A special focus was on the best new talent and photographer of the year recipients. Both student and professional photographers were featured. This event was bolstered by the amazing community and support of IPA which brought even more eyes on the photos of 2023’s highly deserving winners.

Included in the exhibition were photographer of the year, Anna Ligus, and best new talent Michael Robinson Chavez. These two winners display the breadth of photography present at the exhibition with Chavez’s work being photojournalistic showing the harsh reality of the war in the Ukraine. Anna Ligus’s work leans more towards fine art with her photography being dark and moody self portraits. Other category winner’s include Andres Gallego Bellido for fine art, Alfonso Pinto for best news, Peter Muller for advertising, Alexej Sachov for nature, and Emily Neville Fisher for portraiture. After the successful Px3 x IPA exhibition in the House of Lucie Athens, their work will continue to live and travel worldwide across all House of Lucies including in Ostuni, Italy and Budapest, Hungary!
