PX3 Launches 11th Annual Photography Competition!
The Prix de la Photographie, Paris (P×3) has kicked off its 11th Annual Photography Competition with a call to visionary photographers from around the world, both professional and amateur, to share their unique perspectives on the world with a French audience, and compete for international recognition as the next “PX3 Photographer of the Year”, cash prizes, publication in the PX3 Annual Book, and inclusion in a special curated exhibition to be shown in Paris in July, 2018.
Photographers will submit their work in the following categories:
Advertising / Book / Fine Art / Nature / Portraiture / Press
Over the past decade, PX3 has risen to become one of the most prestigious photography competitions in Europe, with thousands of outstanding entries annually from around the world, making the job of PX3’s esteemed Jury a truly challenging one.
The PX3 jury is made up of international photographers, editors, curators and creatives with a passion for photography. Their mandate is to look at the originality, creativity, excellence of execution, and overall impact of each photograph. To view the 2018 Jury list, go to https://px3.fr/jury/
The 2017 winners of PX3’s top awards:
Jonathan Bachman, with his winning entry, “Protester’s Eyes” took the top prize in the professional Press category and snagged him the coveted title of “Photographer of the Year” and a $5,000 cash prize.
Luca Izzo took 1st place in the amateur Fine Art category with the very compelling entry, “Desformes”, winning him the title of “Best New Talent” and a $2,000 cash prize.
