Facing the Self

This work deals with my perception of my own body and how it connects with the space both physically and emotionally. The images suggest a narrative and trace personal memories and dreams half forgotten. The disquiet in the surroundings is revealed through the fragmentation of the body in relation to those surroundings and amplified by the presence of a voyeuristic aspect within the photographs, i.e. the feeling of being watched.
