Chrysanthemum

This is a close-up view of a chrysanthemum flower taken using a macro lens. The chrysanthemum was part of a flower competition in Dundee, United Kingdom. I am enchanted by how these petals are arranged on top of each other with such tenderness. The petals are like limbs caressing softly with each other. Each petal has its own lovely texture and feels delicate to the eyes. The deep rich colour adds intensity to this image as well.
