One of the most significant archetypes to which Jung refers and has created reactions regarding cultural and environmental resemblances in human collective unconscious is the archetype of “Mother-Earth”. This image gives us the idea that existence is prolific. This birth cycle indicates death as much as it promises rebirth; an endless repetition which pursues its life in the human’s mind. In this project, the backgrounds are stable and contain the archetype of “Mother-Earth”. In the foreground, all the figures depicted in their daily routines are influenced by the background.
Raoofeh Rostami is a photographer.She studied Photography at art university of Tehran. Her professional photography began in a theatre venue. she was 20 at that time. Since then, she has photographed quite a number of productions in Iran.
