In celebration of Circus250, the series CIRCUS looks at the
strength, physicality and skill of contemporary circus as a
statuesque art form.
Tim Booth’s work focuses on interpretive fine art work that has already gained recognition with collectors across the globe. Tim Booth has been working as a photographer since the 1980’s and his commercial work for advertising and design agencies spans three decades. His first exhibition ‘Into the Light’, shot whilst on assignments in Africa, was followed by the first ‘A Show of Hands’ exhibition, which comprised his first fifty hands portraits and is now an award winning book. Also known for his gritty portraits, there is an intensity and precision to Tim Booth’s work that draws the viewer in, engaging them in a simple, interpretive and focused view of the world.
