Standing at Dead Vlei in the famous Namib Naukluft Nationalpark during night is a
incredible feeling. This absolutely Darkness, the starry stars which illuminate the
clayey, white ground and the highest dunes in the world and thereto this scary crazy dead
trees! Simply speechless! The night sky shows the complete milky way arch of the southern
hemisphere inclusive the Magellanic clouds. Even more the zodiacal light (scattered sun
light) is visible on the left side of the milky way. The dream of every landscape and
night photographer.

My name is Stefan Liebermann. I'm a physics student just working on my master thesis at the university of Ilmenau, Germany. I found my passion for photography in 2015. Fortunately my family enabled me to visit countries like Venezuela, Sri Lanka, Cuba and Egypt since I was a child. My fervor for travelling was born. Because of my closeness to nature and my wish to understand its complexity I decided to make a degree in natural science. Since around one year I have the idea to travel around the world with my camera and capture fantastic moments in nature. Therefore I toured around Switzerland, Italy and Croatia. I love the beauty of nature and its phenomena.
