The enormous Phra Dhammakaya Temple in Pathum Thani Province just outside Bangkok is renowned throughout Thailand for its mass ceremonies. From monk ordinations to celebrating Buddhist holy days the temple holds vast ceremonies involving tens, sometimes hundreds, of thousands of participants. With centres all over the world and a live to air television network to view such events it is one of the most influencial and powerful Buddhist movements in the world.

Born in 1977 in the North of England Luke is an award-winning British photographer specialising in Asia. After completing a degree in Photography in the UK he moved to Asia, first China and then to Bangkok, Thailand, where he has been based for over 8 years. He is continuously shooting travel, editorial and corporate style assignments for some of the most globally respected publications and NGO's all over the Asian continent.

He began his career with a photo-story published in The Sunday Times Magazine (UK) and has since been assigned and published in publications such as National Geographic Magazine, The Independent on Sunday Review, The Smithsonian Magazine, National Geographic Traveller, Le Figaro Magazine, Stern, Monocle, TIME, GEO France, GEO Germany, ESPN Magazine, Forbes, Volvo's LIV Magazine, The New York Times, Geographical Magazine (UK), The Wall Street Journal, USAID, Gain Alliance, UNDP, Morning Calm Magazine, Die Zeit Magazine etc...
