Nagaland, while administratively a part of India, could not be any less Indian. Populated by largely asiatic people, mostly Myanmari than anything else, it's a world of its own - you can tell the moment you cross the border. But what sets it more aside is the people: 95% Christian (and very devout ones too) and with a very rich and recent history of tribal warfare - up until the 1970s, they would hold tribal wars and claim severed heads as proof of victory. While this changed massively after their conversion, you can see in their eyes how much that past is still alive in their memories
