Bamburgh Castle is a subject I have photographed many times. A stronghold that has stood for over 1500 years has seen many battles, including the War Of The Roses. This is the story I want to portray through this image.

Matthew Wilkinson is an engineer who works across the UK. As he travels he spends his time photographing the Landscape. His Love for Photography started with 1 session a week whilst in college. After college Matthew when on to shoot 5x4 film for a few years then moved to 35mm full-frame in recent years. Matthew has developed a love for expression and strives to take steps away from reality with various processes & techniques and create more abstract images to provoke thought and emotion from the viewer. This approach to his art enables him to further express himself and tell deeper stories.
