Homeless in Belgium have a very hard time during the corona crisis. Due to the necessary social distancing there are less places in the homeless shelters. Many get infected in the shelters, some die. Many are hungry. As the Streets are empty, they can not beg. Their small social network falls apart.The old lady who gives every day a sandwich stays at home. Police tells them to walk as by law nobody can stay in one place now. Not a lot is been donne for them on a political level. A forgotten population suffers even more.
