The Bangkok Railway Station is situated in the heart of the city in the Pathumwan District, Bangkok on Rama 4 Road. It provides easy access to the busy Chinatown, the Chao Phraya River, Silom and Sukhumvit vicinities.

The exterior architecture features a dome shaped hangar resemblance roof that was built in a Neo-Renaissance Style.

Bangkok Railway Station, commonly known as Hua Lumphong Station to the locals is scheduled to be closed in 2021 and it will be converted into a museum when it will changed its official name to Hua Lumphong Station.
