This picture was taken in Denmark, in an Open Air Museum. At the moment of this shot, nearly closing time, this kitchen had a great light coming from the window. The situation ,with this girl who was washing the dishes, reminded me the old masters of Flemish art. The girl with the pearl earring was just in front of me!. Nobody was there, just me! Grabbed my camera and shot her in a rush. She was perfect, her serene face, the blue jar pouring water in the sink, the yellow walls... yes... Vermeer was painting the scene inside my camera!
