The herd of bison in Yellowstone National Park were unsure how to proceed with the strange photographer nearby. However, this towering alpha male emerged from the rear and carelessly strolled through the middle of the group, never hesitating, as if he was king of the land. Little did I know this large male would lead the herd straight at me as I was laying face down in the snow. I luckily had a long lens and before I leaped up for safety, the windy day provided a wonderful scene of swirling, blowing snow to make this bull look even more intimidating than he already was.
