Moods of the Ice

After several polar trips over the past decade, the regions at the ends of the earth are trusted friends. I still appreciate the majestic façade but now the ice lets me see more of its inner being. Sometimes calm, often stormy, always changing, the frozen landscape exhibits different moods. This series is my attempt to communicate to the larger universe what I feel the ice communicates to me.

Southern Utah based photographer exploring my emotional connections to the American Southwest and the ice at the ends of the earth. Formally trained in physics, I strive to express the unreal nature of the quantum mechanical world and its resonance with my internal being.
