Annually, the Chinese community holds the Nine Emperor Gods Festival, it is a nine-day Taoist event which begins on the eve of the ninth lunar month of the lunisolar calendar. As a design student and an active participant of the festival, the lack of documentation and visual references propelled me to solve this problem. The festival is analysed and documented, providing the materials to structure and present the knowledge, practices, and the people and spirits that have supported the festival for the past decades.
