With my last series Ausentes I found the emotional power achieved using abstraction and the body as means of expression
I learned that the monochrome targets more specific emotions without the rational aspect of color schemes
I started working with blue after a meditation in front of a blue wall. I had a vertigo sensation similar to looking at images of the Earth from outer space or a whale in the infinite sea
I remembered Bachelard’s words
All colors arouse specific associative ideas while blue suggests at most the sea and sky and they after all are in visible nature what is most abstract
